Adjunct Faculty, Master of Arts Program in Organization Development & Leadership


Location: Remote 

Reports to: Program Director

Position: Adjunct Faculty (multiple positions available)

The university has a long history and distinguished reputation of providing impactful Organization Development (OD) graduate education. In 2021, we celebrate 25 years of offering our OD master’s program—with approximately 800 alumni across the globe.

We have recently redesigned our MA in Organization Development & Leadership program to meet the contemporary needs of individuals seeking to engage in OD practice and consultation in various organizational contexts. We aim to build a strong faculty for the program. To that end, we are currently accepting applications for adjunct faculty teaching positions.

Job Requirements



We seek candidates who have at least 2 years of experience teaching or providing teaching assistance in online or hybrid environments. Ideal candidates will have notable experience with respect to online graduate programs and/or online undergraduate programs designed for adult learners. Candidates with relevant and notable work experience will receive the strongest hiring consideration. A master’s degree is required and doctorate degree preferred in at least one domain and/or foundational areas noted below.


We are particularly interested in candidates with a graduate degree, coupled with demonstrated practice and/or scholarship in one or more of the following domains:

  • Organizational Behavior
  • Organizational Culture
  • Organizational Change
  • Organizational Design
  • Organizational Consulting


We are also interested in candidates with graduate degrees and certifications, coupled with demonstrated practice in the following foundations:

  • Leadership
  • Organization Development
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
  • Group Communication
  • Organizational Communication
  • Data Science and Data Analytics
  • Industrial and Organizational Psychology



Candidates hired will be part of an adjunct faculty pool and offered opportunities to teach, according to their respective expertise and availability and program instructional needs. The program is comprised of six (6) modules. Modules are 7 weeks in duration, within a 14-week term structure. Faculty serving as lead faculty for each module will provide instruction for 7 weeks. Faculty serving as foundation faculty for each module will provide instruction for 5 weeks. All program faculty will deliver both synchronous and asynchronous instruction.   


Initial faculty onboarding and program orientation are in May and June 2021, with the first teaching assignments for the program starting in July 2021—followed by September 2021, November 2021, January 2022, March 2022 and May 2022.
