This position is designated for an applicant who identifies as a woman. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a strong externally funded research program and to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The Department of Pharmacology maintains a strong research profile across a wide range of health-related fields, including cardiovascular sciences. Details can be found on our department website: https://medicine.dal.ca/departments/department-sites/pharmacology.html. Candidates must have a record of high-quality research related to the pathogenesis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, commensurate to their career stage; and must demonstrate potential for effective teaching and administrative service. Ideally, a candidate’s expertise will complement the research interests of DalCREW members to foster translational, interdisciplinary collaborations among basic and clinician scientists.
