Organization ProfileServing primarily east Mississippi and west Alabama, MSU-Meridian has expanded its national draw through high-demand health science programs. The university's two Meridian campuses, the College Park Campus and the Riley Campus, provide credit and non-credit course work, helping to fulfill the educational aspirations of both traditional and non-traditional students. An upper-division degree completion site priding itself on innovative academic partnerships with the area's four community colleges, MSU-Meridian also pioneers new frontiers in distinctive graduate programs to retool adult populations for careers in education, healthcare, and mental health. Most recently, the university launched a strategic initiative to transform the Riley Campus into a health sciences campus, spearheading new approaches that address health disparity in the state. The Riley Campus is home to the state's first publicly funded Master of Physician Assistant Studies program, Healthcare Administration program, and accelerated Master of Science in Nursing entry licensure program. The accelerated MSN, another first in the state, recently received Phase I approval from the Board of Trustees of the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning. Visit our Web page.
