POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW position is available, supported by a grant awarded by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) to Drs. Eugene Dunne and Marisol Téllez Merchán of TUKSoD to investigate the efficacy of an online intervention for the treatment of dental anxiety.
Specific duties will include oversight of the day-to-day operations of the study, administration of the online intervention, training of psychology staff and dental assistants in the administration of the online intervention and in the basics of cognitive-behavioral therapy, oversight of fidelity/adherence rating, and conduct of baseline and follow-up diagnostic assessments. Opportunities for developing one’s own line of research may be available. The position may also offer the opportunity to accrue supervised clinical hours toward licensure.
Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in clinical psychology or health psychology from an APA-accredited or PCSAS-accredited program and possess excellent research skills and interest in conducting research as part of an interdisciplinary team. A background in cognitive-behavioral therapy and treatment of anxiety disorders is greatly preferred.

Salary is tied to the National Research Service Award salary schedule for postdoctoral fellows and varies as a function of years since the completion of the doctoral degree.
