ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, execute, and routinely provide updates and reports for recruitment, yield, and territory management strategies to meet enrollment targets. Increase the quality of university relationships with key schools and constituents in assigned market(s). Conduct off-campus presentations and information sessions including visits to secondary schools, community colleges, and corporate offices. Represent Fontbonne at college day/night programs, college fairs, individual school visits, and other related community events. Consistently document interactions and keep current records in SLATE to drive and support enrollment outcomes. Develop and maintain other more personalized documentation and organization tools.
• Execute individual phone calls and email outreach, and other targeted communications campaigns to prospective students to support each critical juncture of the enrollment process. Consistently document interactions and keep current records in SLATE to drive and support enrollment outcomes. Maintain accurate contact information for students, secondary school and community college contacts, and community-based organizations and other influential stakeholders.
• Meet individually with prospective students and families on-campus, and conduct presentations, information sessions, and visitor interviews. Keep individual and detailed records of student interactions and recruitment insights, consistently utilizing and updating SLATE. Develop and maintain other more personalized documentation and organization tools to drive and support enrollment outcomes.
• Continuously research and update knowledge of Fontbonne’s academic programs, student services, student activities, and outcomes information to provide accurate information and compelling and nuanced communication. Regularly perform market research and competitor analysis to assist the Office of Admission in developing and executing recruitment and yield strategies and tactics for diverse populations. Stay current on post-secondary and secondary education trends related to student recruitment and yield, and other professional best-practices.
• Ensure that the academic quality and personal characteristics of recruited first-year students meet Fontbonne standards by assessing the academic backgrounds, references and other credentials.
• Collaborate with other offices to plan and implement programs, events and communications for first-year student recruitment purposes including social media. Proactively seek and contribute to additional recruitment and yield activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify recruitment opportunities by analyzing and assessing market research, trends, and other relevant data
• Cultivate and leverage relationships to achieve enrollment goals
• Engages and supports recruitment and yield strategies that involve campus and university departments
• Supports the comprehensive organization and planning for all prospective student recruitment events
• Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates data related recruitment and yield events, and customer service initiatives
• Visits secondary schools, community-based organizations and scholarship programs (extensive automobile and overnight travel required. Some weekend assignments required)
• Conducts on-campus visitor interviews, e-mail correspondence, telephone communication, customer service functions, outreach related activities, and follow-up (e.g., travel coordination, special events, etc.)

• Ability to build strong relationships and establish fruitful relationships on behalf of Fontbonne University.
• Positive experience balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and detail-oriented tasks and projects.
• Ability to do extensive automobile travel. Some overnight travel and weekend assignments.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid driver’s license required. Personal car usage for local travel with mileage reimbursement.
UNUSUAL WORKING CONDITIONS
• Evening and weekend hours are required throughout the year. Schedule must be flexible.
