Job Summary

Purdue Polytechnic Institute, Department of Computer and Information Technology invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor (Tenure Track) position at the West Lafayette campus beginning in August 2023. Exceptional candidates are sought to join our fast-growing department and academic programs.


The position is in the areas of Computing Infrastructure and Network Engineering Technology (CINET) and Systems Analysis and Design. The selected candidate will be expected to develop an active research program in these areas as well as participate in both undergraduate and graduate course delivery and development in the topic of Advanced System Development Methodologies including DevOps. Additionally, the hire will be expected to participate actively in Purdue’s CINET and Systems Analysis and Design education programs and engage with industry, the community, and colleagues
within the computing discipline.

Job Requirements

Qualifications
All candidates must have an earned PhD degree in computer and information technology or a related field by the start of employment. While prior industry experience in CINET and Systems Analysis and Design is not mandatory, it is preferable, especially in the area of DevOps.
