Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. We seek candidates with teaching interests in Artificial Intelligence (AI), including classical AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI (GenAI), Reinforcement Learning, and Multimodal AI, from both theoretical and applied perspectives, with applications in operations research, data science, and/or financial engineering. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the educational mission of the Department, which includes developing curricula and courses for relevant graduate and undergraduate programs, executive programs for practitioners, and industry contacts for sponsored projects for experiential learning courses. Candidates must hold a PhD or its professional equivalent in Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Management and Systems, Robotics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline by the start date of the appointment.
Candidates at the rank of Lecturer in Discipline are expected to have teaching experience, documented evidence of pedagogical excellence, and evidence of professional growth and activity in the given field. Candidates at the rank of Senior Lecturer in Discipline are expected to have substantial experience and accomplishments, a superlative record of teaching as a lecturer, and documented evidence of pedagogical excellence in carrying out administrative or other department responsibilities.
The Department is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
